Terminals at King Khalid Airport
RUH Airport has five passenger terminals, although not all of them operate always. These terminals are equipped with wide halls, prayer rooms, lounges, and food courts to cater to passengers in comfort and care.
Terminal 1 – International Airlines
- This terminal is mostly used for international flights and accommodates a variety of international carriers with global connections to Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and more.
Terminal 2 – International Airlines
- Also serving international operations, Terminal 2 supports Terminal 1, welcoming some foreign carriers such as big Gulf and Asian carriers.
Terminal 3 – Domestic Flights
- Recently refurbished with modern facilities, Terminal 3 serves the domestic flights across the Kingdom, particularly Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) and Flynas.
Terminal 4 – Future Expansion
- Under current development as an extension of RUH‘s airport expansion program, Terminal 4 will add additional international capacity and facilitate improved passenger flow in the near term.
Terminal 5 – Domestic Flights (New & Modern)
- This is RUH’s most modern terminal, launched to simplify domestic travel. Terminal 5 is mainly occupied by Saudia and Flynas, providing smooth security processing, automated check-in facilities, and premium lounges. It‘s accessed through automated trains and shuttle networks.
